I think that I am going to try and not be that person that apologizes profusely for not updating their blog. I am not sure I am ready to make any promises about updating it more... but am of course it that deep stage of regret where I wish I had been blogging consistently. Now it has been nearly 9 months since my last blog and life sure has been busy here. Kids came to camp, made mistakes, made improvements- were huge successes- and impacted my life in their very special ways.

It has now been about 2 weeks since the end of summer camp, and I thought it would be fun to post some of the pictures from summer camp. We had theme weeks this summer which was a new addition since I have been there. Although we were always completely exhausted after each week- it was always a blast. The first week ways luau/beach theme, the second was western week, third was pirate, the fourth was 4th of July (this is about where we got EXHAUSTED from doing theme weeks) because the last week was "no theme- get ready for Honor Camp". hahaha. When I find more energy I will definitely post about Honor Camp. It was so much fun--- although it was also completely exhausting! For reals- like go to bed no earlier than 12:30am and get up no later than 5:30am. Anywho, I hope you enjoy the pictures! My first years as a Program Director was a blast and I look forward to getting a new staff in September and improving on my skills and helping kids be the best they can be. It's all for.the.kids.
